Alexander Kier

Alexander S. Kier (Alex) is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship Department at the Carson College of Business at Washington State University Vancouver. His research focuses on entrepreneurial imaginativeness, entrepreneurial decision making/cognition, and entrepreneurial escalation of commitment. His research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Academy of Management Perspectives, and Business Horizons. Prior to joining WSU, Alex’s professional experience includes work as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton.
