Arvin Sahaym

Arvin Sahaym is an associate professor in the Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship. He researches and teaches in the fields of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation. Arvin's research examines the real-world phenomena at the interface of Management and Organization, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His research has been published in a number of leading journals including Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Business Research, and International Business Review. Arvin has earned numerous honors and awards including Distinguished Paper Award at the Academy of Management, FGF Germany Best Paper Award, Academy of Management Conferences' Best Reviewer Award, Carson College of Business' Outstanding Faculty Research Award, Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award, and multiple Dean's Excellence Awards over the years, among others. Arvin is a member of the Journal of Business Venturing Editorial Board of Review and regularly reviews articles for the top journals in business. He serves the department as the Ph.D. program Coordinator for Management, and Entrepreneurship areas. He served the college as a senator in the faculty senate of the Washington State University between 2013 to 2016. He serves the university as an Entrepreneurial Faculty Ambassador for WSU.
