Bret Vanness serves as an Academic Advisor for the Carson Center for Student Success for Pre-Certification. Bret’s educational background includes a Bachelor in Social Work from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and an MA in Education from Seattle University. Before coming to Carson College, Bret coordinated the First-Year Seminar at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and prior to that spent several years in China teaching at the university level.
