Born and raised first generation Californian, of German and Serbian background. Obtained B.A., M.A. and Ph.D degrees in German language, literature and linguistics from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Also obtained from UCI elementary, secondary and administrative credentials for K-12 schools. Earned a J.D. degree from the University of Idaho. The first part of my career was spent in the public schools, K-12, as a teacher, vice-principal, principal, director of instruction, assistant superintendent of instruction and educational services, and, lastly, as superintendent of schools. From the superintendency, left K-12 to attend law school, and, have been in private practice since 2001. My law practice focuses on business law, estate planning, federal courts -- civil and criminal, contracts, criminal law, disability planning, medicaid assistance, and, family law. Main law office is located in Moscow, Idaho. Married with two adult children. Major contributor in the community as a member of boards of directors, guest speaker, pro bono advocate, and, helper with Greyhound Pets of America in greyhound rescue efforts.
