Jennifer Sandstrom

Dr. Sandstrom is an associate professor, career-track, in the School of Hospitality Business Management where she teaches hospitality leadership and lodging-related classes. Dr. Sandstrom's research focuses on hotel General Manager leadership, hotel culture, and hospitality education. She has published papers in the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, the Journal of Sustainable Tourism, and ICHRIE Research Reports. Dr. Sandstrom spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry as a hotel operator and regional leader. While in the industry, she earned many awards, including "Hotel of the Year" for Residence Inn by Marriott and "General Manager of the Year" for TownePlace Suites by Marriott.
