Teresa Ruddy is from Pullman, Washington where her father worked in journalism for Washington State University. Teresa currently serves Washington State University Carson College of Business as the online undergraduate operations manager. She joined the Carson College of Business in 1998 after working in housing and financial aid at WSU. During her time in the college, she has provided administrative management for online programs, business faculty-led study abroad programs, and has advised students on study abroad and academics. In addition, Teresa held administrative assistant positions in the Office of the Dean, International Business Institute, Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, and the Economic Development Center. She was on the team that started the college's Business Plan Competition in 2003. She is a member of the Online Learning Consortium and UPCEA: Leaders in Professional, Continuing and Online Education (OLC). She was a past member of the National Association of International Educators (NAFSA), National Academic Advising Association (NACDA), and WSU Academic Advising Association (ACADA). Teresa received the college Outstanding Staff Award in 2011.
