Yunshil Cha began the PhD program in the Department of Accounting at Washington State University in 2014. Yunshil’s primary research interests include judgment and decision making processes in financial and managerial accounting, and management controls in organizations. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the Pennsylvania State University and obtained the Master of Science in Accounting and Economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining the program, Yunshil worked as a research analyst in Public Financial Management Research Division at Korea Institute of Public Finance in South Korea. Her research has been published in Judgment and Decision Making. Outside of the PhD program, Yunshil enjoys reading, cooking and outdoor activities.
