Curriculum Vitae

Kimberly Carper is adjunct faculty in the School of Hospitality Business Management where she teaches Industry Experience, preparing students to successfully secure a position in the business world. Ms. Carper brings over 20 years of Human Resource management experience, most notably from Expedia Inc., Hyatt Hotels, and Washington Mutual. Her roles have included Senior Human Resources Manager, Vice President of Leadership Development, and Vice President/Senior Human Resources Business Partner. During her career, Ms. Carper has worked with hundreds of individuals as they negotiate job transitions. She has presented throughout the state on career topics including at the WSU Lewis Alumni Centre. A Fulbright Scholar, Ms. Carper has traveled to over 80 countries on all 7 continents. She is now an independent consultant in networking and social media strategies, résumé and cover letter development, interview preparation, salary negotiations, and other career building strategies.
