Kalvin N. Joshi has been a Faculty member in the Carson College of Business for 18 years. He teaches undergraduate, honors, graduate MBA, executive MBA, and doctoral (seminar) students. He conducts executive MBA seminars and, teaches internationally on behalf of the Carson College of Business. He is listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers. He is the Lead Professor for the Carson OMBA Global Entrepreneurship Capstone project courses. He is the 2018 OMBA Professor of the Year as voted on by OMBA students. He is also elected as a Faculty Senator to represent the Carson College of Business on the Washington State University Faculty Senate. He also teaches, International Trade Law, Business and Entrepreneurship Law, Executive Business Ethics, Compliance and Managerial Professional Practice. He Chairs the Carson Master’s Programs Policy Committee. He serves on the MBA Business Plan Assessment committees for the MBA, OMBA and Executive MBA programs. He leads the MISE Department’s strategic planning for online undergraduate programs. He serves as a Reviewer/External Reviewer for the Honors College (Student Thesis), Journals, Academies, Publishers and Global Faculty. He has served as an invited Entrepreneurial Business Plan and Global Case Competition Judge, many times. He coaches Championship winning International Business Case Competition student teams. He serves as an Entrepreneurship mentor. He is a Carson International Business Fellow. His memberships include the Academy of International Business, the Academy of Management, the Consortium of International Business Educators, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, the American Bar Association and the Corporate Counsel sections of the Washington and New York bar associations. He is also an Attorney, with many years of practice based client representation and client counseling experience. He is a licensed and active member of the Washington State and New York State Bar associations, and Province of Alberta (retired). He is admitted to the following Federal Courts: U.S. Supreme Court (Washington, DC), U.S. Court of International Trade (New York, NY), U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (Washington, DC), Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (San Francisco, CA), and Federal District Court - Eastern District of Washington (Spokane, WA). He is a supporter of the USO, United States Navy Memorial and United States Marines Heritage Foundation. He also provides select Entrepreneurial pro bono counseling to Military Veterans.
